My advice is any place that uses weights in the car and boot will be good (same as BMW do on their KDS system) if they don't do that avoid.

Also if they have a road force balancer would be good when installing the tyre, costs a little extra but worth it, in fact you should get all 4 road force balanced while your at it reduced road noise and ensures as close to perfect balance as possible.

Finally you shouldn't really be replacing a single tyre usually done in axle pairs but if the remaining tyres are close to new no big deal.

update: swapped all for tyres today for non runflats. Tgen went for a Hunter 4 wheel alignment. The fronts were pretty badly misaligned along with one of the rear tyres.

Wow that is wayyy out never seen a BMW that bad.

You must have had a lot of over steer.

Non run flats should be much quieter I did same on our X1.

Yeah, the new tyres are heaven compared. The guy who fixed the alignment said it was probably never done on my car and appearantly on the BMWs the front axle wheels are prone to misalignment. Especially if you hit a pothole big time.
I had uneven wear on the fronts before I changed the tyres so I knew something is wrong. Got the new tyres plus alignment, drives now like new. Shall I say better with non runflats? 🙂
