This has happened a few times now, pretty spread apart but still alarming...
Put gear shift into reverse and nothing, car just rolls forward.
Try again and nothing, same.
Got about an inch before I would touch car in front of me and stopped. Tried again the next morning and everything was fine.

Any thoughts? Experience's?

Still should be under warranty, no? Take it in right away would be my advice.

Do you have a scan tool of any sorts to see if there's a code being thrown in the background or what not?

Yeah it's under 50K, drivetrain. Which I would think this would fall under. I don't have scanner but hoping it threw a code so the dealer can see.
