X2 M35i - Comfort question
Hello, I have a selection in one bazaar X2 M35i 2022 with adaptive suspension, I heard that with sports suspension is too hard for longer rides, I was discouraged by many from the m35i due to the harshness of the chassis, my question is if this model with adaptive chassis (0223 Adaptives Fahrwerk) is acceptable for normal driving for comfort?
Thank You very much for answer. Last edited by hnzk; 10-31-2023 at 02:52 AM.. |

My vehicle has the adaptive suspension. We have taken several long road trips with no complaints from the wife. She actually prefers the x2 over her x3 for long trips although I think the sport seats are the deciding factor. Sport mode is fun, but it's always off on long trips.

It's all a matter of perspective, and what I would say the roads you travel on. Yes the suspension is stiffer, but it's no "race car" and long trips haven't been an issue for me either. I could say I've been in many cars that are super "squishy" .. but the standard honda civic and toyota corolla have "harsher" suspension to me.

In sport mode you can turn off the tighter suspension if you have adaptive suspension. The ride is still stiff, but the difference is definitely noticeable. I’ve driven 4+ hrs in my m35i and had no comfort issues, however I don’t have the sport bucket seats.
