Yesterday I replaced my rear rotors and pads.i broke the plastic connector locking tab on the female brake pad sensor wire end while prying with the screwdriver. Right now I used the electrical tape wrapped around the connection. I am talking abt the plastic locking tab at the end of the wire to which the brake pad sensor wire connect.
Any suggestions? In the photo the locking clip from no 1 broke. |

You can buy replacements for the clips at your local BMW dealer or just use a tie wrap to hold them.
I did the same changing brake ABS sensors and just removed it and went to my local dealer. ( bring it with you they are notoriously lazy looking up PNs and without it in hand won't get what your describing) They had to order them in from Germany in a bag of 50 and it took a few days but they only charged me a few euro for 3. I used tie wraps in the interim. |

Part 2 is the lead from the sensor, comes new with a new sensor it's all one unit, part 1 is the body side connector.

Think you will need bmw to splice a new one in place/repair kit.

Found the repair kit.
I found the repair kit. The sharp pin or pin removal tool can be used to remove the wire from old socket. But first you need to slide the outer plastic housing so that the hole will be exposed to remove the pin.
