BMW f48 m sport suspension replacement

Has anyone changed from m sport to regular suspension? The combination of hard seats, runflat tires and m sport suspension is too much for me.

You can definitely do it. You will need to change springs and shocks.

But, IMO, it won't change that much. Have you driven a "regular" x-line X1? So you know what to expect.

I did. Couple years ago I had courtesy car from service, 2018 x1 with regular suspension amd different seats, more comfortable. I even didn't know that I have m sport suspension until now. I decode my vin number to check something and found it out. Mine is from 2016. So just spring and shocks?

Switching to regular go-flat tires will also usually change the ride compliance...probably cheaper than a suspension swap, too.

Yes, new springs and shocks will make the ride softer. Also, different tires (non-RFT or higher sidewall) will help too, as others mentioned. But you will still have the same sports seats.

Have you considered trading in your X1 for something more comfortable for you? Perhaps it's the way to go before expending several $$ on new suspension and tires.
