water stripes below mirro
Under the mirror (F48) appear tripes of water (i think). I can't remove this with regular tools as a sponge and towel.
Could i be into damage the vernish? Are there more members with this 'problem'? What says BMW? (i never seen this before, i drive almost 35 years cars) g.Ruud Last edited by RuPo; 02-22-2021 at 09:23 AM.. |

This has happened to most cars that I have owned from time to time over the past 50 years at least. More so if you live in a hard water area.
If you are concerned about it, then use polish and microfibre cloths.

Same here, and I think it's a common issue. Mirrors collect water inside, so every time I wash my X1, I fold the mirrors after washing & rinsing them. And after drying the entire car, I check the mirrors one more time for any extra water dripping out.
