Won't be long now. I am curious and a little nervous too as I have not seen an M Sport in the flesh.

Well this time tomorrow it will be ours. Mrs W can hardly contain her excitement.
Three months in assorted loan cars has taken its toll on her I think.

Be careful driving it home!!
Within 500yards of collecting mine from the dealer, I came within inches of this b****y cyclist pulling straight out of a side road without looking (as they seem to do these days). That would have been highly embarrassing!! Enjoy. |

Really looking forward to it. Fortunately it is a fairly nice journey hoome form the dealer. You are right about cyclists though a lot of them seem to think the traffic rules dont apply...

Yeah that's the only part of the M Sport I'm not 100% convinced by, especially in white... I think the diffusers on the F10 and F30 are a better design, however the rest of the M Sport pack more than makes up for it imo

Half a day of work to get through now. Camera bag with me. Roll on 2.00
Still have my doubts about the M sport version, but as long as Mrs W is happy I don't care.

I'm excited about your car too, and kept checking today to see if you've got it Since it should look just like my car on order. Looking forward to seeing the pics!

Me too! Can't wait to see how the M Sport looks in white in some "real" pictures... In fact I'm holding back on confirming our mineral white order until I have seen the pictures of the car

Will do what I can. Have blown the dust off my best DSLR and lens combo, just hope the weather plays ball.

It does seem that BMW have badly underestimated the number of petrol versions they would sell.

I think that this has potentially caught BMW out a little with the extra demand, this forum alone has evidenced the fact that there seems to be a shift in buying attitudes.

Ironically we have gone the other way. Our only other diesel was a 320d M sport copmpany car Mrs W had for a while. We would usually have a petrol, but thought the torquey nature of the diesel would suit the X1 better. Also we had a nasty issue with the 2.0i petrol in the MINI we had, which put her off a little.
