Morning all,

I have recently purchased a BMW X1 2020 M Sport Step Auto xDrive from BMW and I am wanting to add CarPlay. I did this on my 2017 F30 and it was fairly straight forward albeit it seems to be a bit tricker in this one.

I have the 10.25" touch screen display running Road Map EUROPE Way 2019-1, Telephone TT-002.126.001 and Media MT-002.126.001 which I figure is an EntryNav2 system. The current headunit installed is model number 5A06D89.

Can anybody advise on what I need to enable CarPlay? I think a new HU is required as there is a lack of WLAN plug on my current HU. albeit open to suggestions.

Best way would be headunit replacement - just get entrynav2 with WLAN port, and we can code it remotely as it is OEM with Apple CarPlay. Feel free to contact me through PM with any questions.
