Getting rid of tar.....

I found those annoying thing hair-like lines of tar around the wheel well of my car. whats the best product to use to get rid of that stuff?

Try using a bit of clay.

its funny you say that because i ordered a clay kit from griot's that should be arriving today. Is there a special process to it? do i need to prep the area with anything first?

Try using a wheel cleaner like Sonax, slightly stronger and leave it on for 5 mins. Wash off and using a quick detailers spray use the clay.

Make sure once you have the wheels cleaned that you apply some Poorboys sealant, next time it won't be as hard to clean!

Failing that try a little polish, pref a mild abrasive one on it. Always worked for me.

You can also try Stoner Tarminator. Great product and can be found at autozone/advance auto parts and is easily affordable.

diesel does the job and guranteed no paint damage. tried and tested.
