its funny you say that because i ordered a clay kit from griot's that should be arriving today. Is there a special process to it? do i need to prep the area with anything first?

Try using a wheel cleaner like Sonax, slightly stronger and leave it on for 5 mins. Wash off and using a quick detailers spray use the clay.
Make sure once you have the wheels cleaned that you apply some Poorboys sealant, next time it won't be as hard to clean! http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ighlight=sonax

Failing that try a little polish, pref a mild abrasive one on it. Always worked for me.

You can also try Stoner Tarminator. Great product and can be found at autozone/advance auto parts and is easily affordable.
