Michelin Pilot Sport 4 here in 225/45ZR19
Expensive but worth it, very good feeling on the road

The previous owner of my car complained about very quick tire wear but he installed only retreaded tires. My Michelin tires have now 20k km and are still good

Garage List
I couldn’t get the CrossClimate2s in but that was my preferred tire. I plan on switching the whole family over to them eventually. I ended up with Michelin Pilot All Season 4 tires and have been happy.

The grip is INSANE! So much confidence, I cannot believe it. It also has some insulation on the inside that reduces the road noise. They are really quiet.

So happy I changed my P7 Cinturatto RFT with the PS4. Highly recommended!
Thanks I’ll look into it

Punctured one of my 8 year old Dunlop Run Flats last fall, now's a good time to research a set of replacements. I run dedicated winters in the winter so looking to replace with summers again.

I'm looking at the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S or the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 in 245/45/19. Anyone running these and this size on their X1?

This tire is slightly taller 27.7 vs 27 and 9.6 wide vs 8.9 and will fit the OEM 8.0" wheel. RPM is 751 vs 748 for the 225/45/19. I have seen these reparted at 721 RPM, not sure what is right.

I have read the 245/40/19 has been a popular choice as well. This size has a slightly smaller dia. (less sidewall), which I assume would provide greater stiffness and a harsher ride if any. Its RPM is 755 vs 748 of the 225/45/19.
