Has anyone tried to use a wireless apple CarPlay dongle in the X1?
Does the head unit run android?

Interesting, don't know there is a dongle to use car play. Can you post a pic of it. Or is it the module from bimmertech?

No, the HU does not use android and all the ones I have seen will not work.
