the bluetooth availabilities in my car are for phone call use only. however have bought a usb dongle that plugs into both the usb and aux and has worked great for almost 6 months now. displayed on my idrive screen when i connect to my dongle (auto connect to my bmw bt) it comes up with a phone call to myself

The sound quality is awful, as if it is playing through my phone. i have disconnected both connections and forgot devices on my phone but my dongle will not playback any sound unless my phone is connected to the idrive bt, playing horrible audio again

can provide more details im just not too sure as to what has caused this after working seamlessly for so long
