Anyways, I watched them. Felt like one long movie with a few character swaps every couple hours….at the end I asked my self what did this guy do to the universe to have so many people coming after him. He can't get on a plane or a train. He can't leave his wife or kids alone without them getting kidnapped. Poor guy.
Haha, you're so right. When I was checking out what to watch, I kept thinking to myself, "Did I watch this w Liam?? I thought I did but this looks a bit different....??"

I hope he's just flooding the mkt as he doesn't seem stupid enough to go bankrupt. The guy already has enough tragedy in his life, so I hope not.
The producers could've saved time and money by just calling them all sequels to taken. But I digress.

It's incredible that he is essentially Brian Mills in like 10 movies. Good for you Liam, keep collecting those coins lol.

I haven't seen the Woman King yet, although its been on my radar. I haven't really had any interest in going to the movies anymore, now I just wait for streaming unless its a movie I'm dying to see which isn't too many.

Watched Wakanda Forever today. Great tribute to Chadwick Boseman and a really good movie. I enjoyed it a lot in Dolby Digital at AMC.

The movie was so lame and the directing was so full of crazy camera angles that I gave up after 30 minutes. Never finished the movie.

Woman King was also a pretty good movie. I usually watch new movies the first week they come out so pretty up to date. Sometimes I’m on a plane and realize I’ve watched all the movies available on the inflight entertainment. Lol

Ambulance was a crazy plot from the start and a better title could have been chosen for it but films like this are not always for a good story and more for the action so all to their own.

I read the reviews before going in and thought “well, I like Michael Bay movies so maybe it’s not that bad.” All the camera angle and shots just didn’t resonate so I stopped watching. It’s trying too hard to make it look cool. Reviews were right.

I thought the first two were great, but the 3rd one to me was a big let down. Seemed like there was almost no dialogue/story, and just all fight scenes.

I love a good fight scene, but I don't want to watch 2 straight hours of it.

Imma taking it further than you. I didn't see why all the hoopla for the 1st one even, it was alright, that's about it, so for sure the sequels weren't as good as that and I kept thinking 'why make them?' but ofc it's all about the $$$$.

Yeah, look at the comic book movies that are nothing but ideas/dialogue for 5th graders with lots of CGI.

Not really a fan of the John Wick movies but I know others are here so I posted the new trailer for them.

And agree with OkieSnuffBox on the comic book movies. Too many, too much CGI, too dumb. Kid's movies.

Ya, they're for adult kids, not a fan either, not excited for Thor #6 or Spider-man #11, they are all too similar, just 'style' over substance.

Some like them and some don't. We all have our opinions here, and you know what they say...

Saw black panther 2 today, i enjoyed it. Nice tribute to Chadwick Boseman, definitely missed in the MCU. I liked the villain. Feel like there were some things that could've been done a little different but good movie overall.
Referencing earlier posts, ambulance was....meh...i man it was a little exciting but...i dunno... okay movie I guess.
Knives out was a good movie IMO. Looking forward to the sequel.

Agreed. I like the villain much better than Acquaman. Different universes though.

Yes, for adult kids too.

To add to my post above: my son, who is 35, loves Marvel and DC movies. He also loves Disney, Star Wars, LOTR movies, and many more that I can't think of right now.

I respect his opinion and point of view. There are many adults who share his passion. To them, these movies are not dumb at all. I take back calling them dumb, which I did in my post earlier.

I would NEVER call them dumb…to their face

I dunno, I'm not gonna say anymore but that type of movie is definitely not my cuppa tea.
