Anyone Know What is Missing Part Is? E93 Convertable Interior Cover
So somehow and at sometime the cover that hides some mechanical fittings that's on the interior of my roof fell off (see picture). It is a oval shaped, black, plastic cover probably not worth $0.50 to make but is missed.
The picture is taken looking forward at the interior roof. You can see my rear-view mirror in the foreground. Anyone know what I should refer to it as and/or where I can get another one? |

I cannot help you with the name of the part, but BMW dealer ordered me one last week. I actually got an email earlier telling me it was in. It was covered under warranty for me. I wonder if this is a common thing?

I think the part your referring to is number 8 in the diagram. If so, it's called the Emergency Actuating Unit Finisher, Part Number 54377204325, and according to realOEM the cost is, ready or not...$11.01! Just shop around.

Yep # 8 in that picture - mine falls off once or so a year and I just stick it back on - just look around, it is probably somewhere between where it belongs and the trunk - I always find mine!
