dual exhaust tips and diffuser

sooo i was expecting to get dual tips and a diffuser on today, turns out the garage 'forgot' i was booked in for fitting today and icing on.the cake not ordered my tips!

anyway, cut long story short given the hassle today ive lost confidence and actually maybe a blessing in disguise.. i know quite a few members have converted the single peashooter on the 320d to dual exhaust tips. apologies as this has been discussed before but does anyone have links to some dual tips at a reasonable price? replicas are fine. ive seen the following on ebay and wondered if anyone has used these or any feedback?? im guessing the peashooter can be cut and something like this can be welded on..finally being quoted £180 for genuine m perf diffuser is that a decent price? thanks in advance

£180 is a really good price for genuine diffuser. You just need to make sure the twin cutout of the diffuser aligns with the aftermarket exhaust tips. It's not an issue with the genuine performance tips or if you're using the back box of a 330d. If you get an exhaust specialist to do the work i suppose they will make the necessary adjustments to ensure alignment.

Personally I'd go for genuine twin tip to avoid it looking like a botched job.

Thanks matey, i know these have been popular also but not sure of fitment so the £180 did seem a good enough price.

the genuine twin tips are a little pricey

I had to sell my diffuser from DM autotiele as the fitment was cr#p. Don't bother and get genuine for £180.

I've also got the same tips but paid £180 from ebay. Just a private seller so got lucky with the price. For £244 price is not far off from custom twin single exhaust either side look like the 440i

Don't waste money on twin pipe when you can get duals for same money coz you know you will dual afterwards

I have got 335 twin box and you can have it mate rather than buying tips , up to you and if you near Manchester can drop it off this weekend

Get duals ....

mate totally appreciate what your saying and your probably right..unfortunately ive gutted my house at the mo and the extension increased to a dormer lastweek so +20k so im watching my pennies scroungy as it sounds lol.. i genuinely hate the look of the single tip peashooter though and would be happy enough spending approx £250ish for some twin tips and diffuser..

im in london tomorrow and over weekend, just spoke to fastlanestyling in romford who said twintips £60-£120 and diffuser £135. will be seeimg them on saturday, if thats a no go can i get back in touch re: backbox mate? btw what a fcking genuine bloke you are! hats off to ya

It was replica mate coz I fitted same and fitting is good just tiny gaps on either side which hardly noticeable mate

Do a badge delete and get quad exhausts. Then do a jb4 tune and lowering springs. Get a black wrap and plasti dip the rims unless you can wrap those too.

thanks as always bud, ive been quoted £80 for the interior wrap which i thought was quite reasonable

just had a 5hr journey back up north, nice chilled out run on cruise control. the car handles really nicely on the motorway. I did find the twin exhausts making a slight tinny rattle/vibration when parked up home will have to keep an ear out..too knackered for anything now
