Moved Back To E9X M3
My F80 was great, but an opportunity came up to buy a 12k mile 2012 Frozen Silver M3. One of forty produced that year, and they came fully loaded from the factory. Previous owner also installed an MPE exhaust. The engine sound is truly epic. Here are a couple of pics.

Nice car - enjoy it! The S54, S62 and S65 engines are among my favorite M engines. All have character and useable power, even on the street. I respect the V-10 S85 engine tremendously, but I never found it usable for every day driving.

The seats and the torque are the biggest jump. But you can always add Recaro Sportsters and Supercharger kit

Congrats, as long as you are happy, thats what matters the most.
Personally i would not be able to come back, even though my m3 was supercharged and all. F8x is just on another level for me. |

My favorite M car, congrats! I still miss mine... maybe I'll get another one day. Yours looks really clean.
Did you find it for sale on here? locally? or online elsewhere?

Thanks! It actually worked out perfectly, I bought it from my best friend who just wasn't driving it enough. So I am very familiar with the car, history, etc...and made the financial transaction very easy.

Thx, both are truly great cars...for me it boiled down to getting into a very special limited edition, low mileage M car at about half the price of my F80 so I jumped all over it. Def miss some of the tech, the torque, 2 different M modes, etc...but something about the E9X just gives me chills. I used to own a 2011 M3 a few years ago, and to this day it is the one car I wish I never sold. Hoping to hang on to this one for a while
