I have my radio presets.
When listening through aux or Bluetooth and then press the radio button next to the idrive controller, it seems to be a lottery as to whether it selects FM, DAB or saved stations.
I know I can press the radio button until saved stations appears but is there an easy way to just have saved stations as default anytime I press the radio button?

Your first sentence says “my radio presets”. But at the end of your post you call them “saved stations”.

You can have both…and if you are using PRESETS…if you have the 1-8 programmable buttons…you can save ALL of the radio stations up to around 30-40 as PRESETS to one of those 1-8 buttons.

If you do that, then anytime you want to go directly to your PRESETS…you will be directed specifically to them. And if you have a MODE button on your steering wheel’s right button pod…you can toggle back and forth between the last two things you’ve called up on the iDrive screen. So if you initially had PRESETS up…and you changed to NAV or other MEDIA…you can simply press the MODE button on the steering wheel to go back to the previous setup. Or you can press the 1-8 programmable button that you saved PRESETS to.

Using PRESETS (for the radio stations you listen to)…you can also save them in the order you’re most likely to listen…so you can have an SXM station as #1, an AM station as #2, a FM station as #3, another SXM station as #4, etc. Then you can easily change stations by using the SCROLL wheel on the steering wheel

Again, if you have radio stations actually saved to PRESETS…just pull up this screen, highlight PRESETS, then press & hold one of the 1-8 programmable buttons. This will save all the radio stations you saved to a PRESETS list…to one programmable button which you can quickly access with a single press of that programmed button:
