Recent storm in socal

Holy crap! Hahaha we don't get weather very often here, but man.... when we do, it sure does get crazy! The last storm we got was nuts!

Here's a couple pics. First one is the 110 fwy about an hour after I got home after driving that freeway! Thank god! That would have been really bad. And then today it hailed like crazy! For like 5 minutes it was a sheet of white outside while it hailed. So nuts.

yea we got a ton of rain as well up here in Santa Ynez Valley. The biggest place impacted by the storm in my area was the complete wash out of El Cap camping ground. Mud slide took out all the site and cabins, pretty bad.

that pic of the 110 is nuts!

The hail from yesterday morning at 9 was big enough to dent multiple places of the roof and and one side of the pillar of my X1 that I park outside on the driveway. Fortunately the dents are not very shallow but big enough to be noticeable... My neighbors m5 was not so lucky as it was also parked outside but on the street and his hood had some good golf ball sized dents. So far 5 of my BMW friends has had their car's dented, some really don't care as their car is leased. If you live in OC and park you're cars outside, I suggest giving it a second look. I had to look throughly after the hail happened to spot the dents as my car is dirty as hell.

Dang that sucks. The hail around where I live was pretty small. No damage thank god. Granted my car was in the garage and we were out and about in the wife's car. I drove mine to LA Sunday though. That was a bad idea hahaha I got lucky

We had some hail down here in San Diego yesterday, but it was pea-sized or less. Since I got my M4 back from Euro Delivery in July last year, my Z4 M Roadster has been relegated to the driveway. I ran outside to pull it into the garage in my wife's space, but the hail was done before I got outside. Pulled it in anyway just in case we might have more hail and had to put it back in the driveway when my wife got home from work. Fortunately the hail was small enough that it didn't do any damage. Crazy weather!

I saw a picture of some freeway underpass in LA that was completely under water, almost up to the roadway above. My wife and I used to live in Pasadena and she took the 101 to work in downtown LA every day.

I see that your in Irvine? I'm in Irvine as well and the hail felt pretty big yesterday and the ice pellets were dropping everywhere.

When it floods like that in Vegas, people go water skiing with trunks and a wench.

It sure was a great time to redo my roof. 3 week project turned into 4 months and it has been raining inside because workers did not cover exposed areas.

Don't think first picture was 110, it was the 710. I drove through it in the i3 when I was heading out to Long Beach

I am not sure which part it is supposed to be. South of Dodger stadium, it looks closer to 134, and too wide to be the Pasadena. It definitely could be the 710 as well.

SoCal roads are made differently and not meant for this much moisture. I am glad for my compressor and tire warranty.

For as long as I have had tire warranty I never ran into tire issues.

*fingers crossed*
