Yep the original owner didn't deserve the car then!

there are people with so much money they buy stuff just for fun and to have options. the guys that are buyting M4 GTS dont have just one toy.

they also may buy it to keep miles low on each car by splitting them among many

Took my me 6 hours to lock the deal and thats only after I brought 10k in cash. Also half of the staff in the dealership left, because they don't care if you family or repeat customer. For Bob Smith it's profit before anything else.

I actually live in calabasas and bob smith is a great dealer to work with. They actually gave me the lowest lease on an I8 out of any dealer in the state. I'm also pretty sure that the car is on consignment.

Also just because a city is "full of rich people" doesn't mean they are stupid. You have to have some smarts to make money.

Just my opinion but anyone here saying that the person doesn't deserve the car. If you had the chance to turn a profit (50k +) only days after buying the car that is a great opportunity.

I just don't understand, so people shouldn't make money in the world? I mean I agree asking $250-$290K is a bit over the top for the GTS but no one knows how much Bob Smith BMW paid for the GTS in the first place. Welcome to America!

if someone throws me stupid amount (80-100k over msrp) of money for my M4 GTS, I would sell it too. So do I not deserve to have a M4 GTS too?

Glad it worked out for you on your lease. I have nothing against rich people or BOB Smith. Deals are deals and dealers want to make as much as possible on any car they sell. I get that. GTS for 250k ask all you want there's a sucker born every minute.
To me personally when I see Porsche gt3 rs for 450k or GTS m4 for 250k first thing that comes to mind is stupidity, second insanity and thrird must be nice to have money to burn.
Different question how does the insurance work if you paid 100k over sticker? Or you insure it for 250k

I have credible info from Germany that one just sold to Asia for 316keuro and another from Germany for 306keuro. Until all 300 are delivered in the US the final # won't be known. Right now it seems the consensus is you can walk into a dealer and get one at MSRP if they have a allocation available.

Totally agree. And dealers are here to make as much money as they can as well. I remember when they had i8's for 100k over and they were selling like crazy still. It's a beautiful car but at the end of the day it's a car. And I'd rather have profit>car!

MSRP

Yes, it's true, I walked in to my local dealership to check on my M2 and my salesman told me there was a M4 GTS available at MSRP. So, I had to buy it.

Ahh the beauty of the forums and the court of public opinion lol. People spend way too much time counting other peoples money.

Ain't that the purpose of these forums? To share ideas, discuss pricing (good or bad) etc?
If you have the balls to ask 250k for this car, you should have the balls to handle the backlash from it.
