Beautiful build with no expense spared.

The Lightweight wheels are next level too!

Still getting my fitness back and making micro adjustment to my positioning but so far I am really impressed with this bike.

Slow, easy spin on the FX3. First really hot day of the year.

Back on the Domane SL7 tonight. Perfect weather. Mid to low 60s (F) and very little wind. Swarms of bugs, though. Can't have it all, I guess.

First ride of the season. Too much work/travel/life lately!

5 mile exploratory ride in a new area. Still figuring things out.

Same here, except for the travel. I used to ride almost every day. Now it's once or twice a week. Too many projects around the house going on now.

Trying to get back in the habit of riding every day. It means I get one less thing done on my project list, but the trade off is probably worth it.

Beautiful evening for riding. Average speed is creeping back up, too.

8 miles in a new area. Urban route to take-out dinner, hardware store, then back home. Utilitarian ride but it was good to be on 2 wheels.

Heat index of 112F here today. Waaaay too hot to be riding outside. Did a 15 mile Fulgaz ride, though.

Getting ready for my ten miler after the dog has been walked earlier while temp is cool, temps are rising again here so it's important not to walk the dog midday.

Put together a 13 mile ride today in a new area. Felt good. Pretty warm and muggy.

1/3 was on a defined rail-trail, 1/3 was on somewhat bike-friendly wide sidewalk along public roads, and 1/3 was narrow broken sidewalk along public roads. Better than nothing.

There are longer mileage variants I have found based on this ride. It's in a built-up suburban area, so the long country road rides we enjoyed a couple of years ago are not our present reality!

Got out tonight on my gravel bike, although it was all paved trail. First time riding outside in a few weeks.

back not long ago from a 20 miler, much more than I usually do.
I find I can go further and more effortlessly in temps over 30C but at a steady pace with two half litre water bottles rather than my normal one bottle.

I am pretty into cycling. 2022 year-to-date (August), I've rode 1,046 mi across 56 rides, achieved an elevation gain of 46,528 ft, and rode a total of 75 hours. 40 to 60 miles of riding with 2000 to 3000 ft of elevation gain over the weekend is normal for me; weekdays typically see a short 10-mile ride if I have any steam left after work.

Because of this, I never drive too aggressively on mountain roads, because I can be a cyclist on the same road the next day and I wouldn't want to be hit. But I love driving, so I take it to AutoX and track days to let it out.

I have a mountain bike and a road bike. The mountain bike is an old hard tail that has been with me for 10 years now. Use it for cross country rides; DH not really what I can manage. The road bike is a much more recent purchase, 1-2 years. Entry level carbon frame and 105, which is more than enough performance for my level. Converted to tubeless tires.

The picture of the mountain bike on the car is when I just replaced the rear wheels with 255/35 R18. The shop refused to put on the front because they think it'll rub; it won't, just very tight. The car is now on a square set up with BC coilovers. Next step is BBK.

Have fun on the road, riding or driving.

12 mile ride on area trails + sidewalks, most of them wide. Pretty good, less dense/developed area, but that is relative.

Overcast and milder temps made for a comfortable ride.

The wife and I are just getting into cycling. We live right next to the Highline Canal in Denver, which is 71 miles of paved and gravel trails that snake through the city.

We bought our entry level bikes about 5 weeks ago (Trek Dual Sport 3 for me, Trek FX3 for her) and we're doing one ride every weekend to build up our distance. Yesterday we did just over 20 miles and so far we're loving it. My wife already signed us up to do the 25 mile cycle of Denver Century ride next month.

That just means it can only (if you work at it) go up from there!
