BTW if after doing that all you get is a badly stretched Carplay, that's a sign your system software/firmware is not the a new enough revision that supports true full screen.

Good afternoon.

I am very interested in activating the full screen on my BMW.

It is a BMW 1 Series F20 from 2019, with ENTRYNAV2 (with CarPlay enabled at the factory) and a retrofitted 8.8" screen (as the X1 LCI with Navigation Plus now come).

I have read this thread in full and I have been able to see that kubax86 is a professional at this and can help me. Due to the manufacturing date of my car, I think the Head Unit update is necessary to activate the function.

I wait for an answer, please. I am very interested.

Hi, drop us VIN to my PM. I'll let you know.
You will probably need software update. Checking WLAN port is necessary. Either through ENET cable or disassemble the headunit and send me photo.

Just bought BMW X1 F48 last month in Thailand and did not have the fullscreen CarPlay. There is split screen that I cannot turn off while some people have the full screen display.
Do I have to code or how can I make my CarPlay fullscreen?
