Conversion to LCI front bumper?

Been wanting to get the new LCI look so I decided to get a bumper.

Does anyone know if the LCi's front bumper would fit a Jan 2019 X1?

What else would I need? Grill and fogs?

It's the same vehicle with cosmetic upgrades, so yes, it could be done. As far as which pieces you would need, you're the guinea pig! I'd imagine at minimum it would be the cover, trim, fog light brackets and grille.

Nice! Thanks for the link. Would the fog lights connectors fit the new one?

Yeah, they're not reinventing the wheel for the LCI facelift. All the underlying components should be identical. If there's anything you're really questioning just compare the part number listed for the 2020 with the part number from the 2016-2019

I would also like a video if you could make it of the installation? I wanna see how the sensors and fog lights go in and if they fit.

Thanks!

Nothing difficult.

The diesel models have air flaps, for lci bumper need lci flaps!
I decided to eliminate them, gasoline models do not have them.

The lci fogs need other connectors, i use conectors of exhaust gas temperature from engine wire of 540d f10.

Old bumper

That is epic! I'm definitely doing this! So, the old fog connectors don't work?

No, they are different, I went crazy looking for the lci in real oem, in the end looking at a motor wiring I found 2 I cut and spliced them!

Tomorrow I'm going to code the headlights and fog lights, they work but when I turn them on they blink 3 times

Do you have the part number for the wires? I don’t see them on realoem. I’m gonna get the fog lights but they don’t sell the connectors with them.

Was it required to swap the headlights because of their shape, or did you just want the the complete LCI look? I can't quite tell from pics whether the outer shape of the headlights is any different.
