I've tried
-cleaning the windshield (It's also 8 months old)
-cleaning the blades
-cleaning blades with WD40

We have had this persistent issue since we purchased new
When I first got my car in 2018, I don't like the result of the OEM blades( I don't know what brand). So I changed to Bosch , Reflex (fr Canadian Tires), and Trico Ice. But the result are same and the driver side blade was tripping at the bottom due to long and thin blade design. After that I tried Trico Force. That solved my problem. I tried other blades mentioned above on very clean screen which was coated with Carpro.

Hi X1604M, I was reading the reviews on Amazon, and they aren't great. Some of them basically said they're garbage .

What's the correct size? 26" for the driver side? I found them on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Limpia-parabr.../dp/B005WTPDOM

Did you buy a BMW adapter? What's the size for the passenger side?

Thanks!

For left-side drive US spec X1, wipers are 26" driver and 16" passenger.

I've used the Trico Force and Bosch Aerotwin A945S set. Both did not require any additional adapters that were not already included. I would say the Bosch set has performed slightly better and lasted a bit longer than the Tricos. Also, the Bosch may be slightly quieter, but my memory may be off as I last used the Tricos back in 2019.

They're both very comparable in terms of performance and durability. I'm probably going to stick with the Aerotwins as they're a bit cheaper.

Hi jrveron, the sizes are 26 and 16 as Skyline mentioned. I just found out by trying out different brands. But I didn't find Bosch aerotwin where I live. I can buy Bosch Icon which I have tried with no luck. I will tried if I can buy those. The noise caused buy Trico flipping blade is louder than other brand. But I found it the best I can get here locally.
