Warranty question

Hey guys I’m still under warranty, every time I go to the dealer they give me a hard time. My arm rest handle broke off and I’m curious if that’s something covered under warranty or should I just replace myself.

Hi,
First thing I would do is change dealers if they are giving you a hard time then there not worth your custom.
Second thing if its not a wear and tear item I would ask for warranty cover.
Good luck

What Tally said - find a new dealer if possible.

If you're under warranty, always go to dealer and ask for replacement/fix. Something as minor as this, they should help you out.

Warranty, unless you did something Really stupid to break it. I agree with other comments about trying to change dealer. My F48 armrest broke after approx 24 months, it would not stay in position, just dropping to rest on cubby underneath, it was fixed under warranty without a hint that it was anything but a warranty fix. I would however say that my preferred dealer is not the closest one to me and the differences in treatment between dealers is huge. If you do change dealers then let the new dealership know you are switching your business.

For avoidance of doubt (UK members) I do not rate Marshall BMW (Salisbury, Bournemouth etc) but highly rate Snows (Portsmouth).
