I have heard the same. I hear they can bite your bathing suit and take off too.... Make sure to take videos

I could not even imagine being away from my animals for 9 days. God bless you, seems you TRULY do know how to relax. Take lots of pics, Exuma looks amazing

I will definitely be taking pics and I'm sure a few videos!

We had this trip planned before we adopted our pup. He's staying at my Mom's which is like a high end animal B&B. She has 2 acres. The dogs have their own house with air and cotton sheets for the summer. In the winter they get flannel sheets. I'm actually horrible at relaxing. That's one of the reasons I love to travel. It forces me to do so.

Hanging with my kiddos, maybe making some pulled pork, and if the weather permits more shake down drives in the E9.

I remembered we have a college graduation party to go to

"Shine up my cowboy boots
Put on a brand new shirt
Get home early from (yard) work,
if you say
That there's tequila"

The host family and ours go back to T-ball days. We went to one of their daughter's quince that was hosted at the local fairgrounds

"Honey, here's my keys"

Saturday looks gloomy, so it'll be a good day to set up a new home office work area using the PC and monitor I had at the office. Won't be needing them there after Friday.

State fair screams cotton candy and candy apples. Oh and some funnel cake but that's never been my jam.

It's a beautiful weekend here so I grabbed the opportunity to wash and detail the car. It looks so much better when its clean. I also decided to swap out the rusty license plate bolts for some chrome studs that I had lying around. That turned into a real chore as the studs are 6mm and the original screws were 5mm. It took a while to sort it out but it looks much better now.
And then there's the big chore... I put my snow shovel away until next winter. I am done with it. I don't care if it snows five feet tomorrow, I'll just stay put until it all melts away.

Touche, I washed mine just now. I don't have drilled screws in the front plate on the M and the sticky pads are getting weak so will be peeling of the pads soon and replacing with more grippier thinner ones I ordered from a Honda dealer. Done the rear one already and it's holding up nicely.

This weekend is almost here! My birthday is this Wed. but my 2 brother-in-laws and I are headed to the Palm Beach Raceway on Friday night to do the BMW Track Event for my birthday. Very excited.

None of us have ever had any track time before, so it will be a fun new experience. I was checking every day for 2 months before we were finally able to sign up!

Post weekend response. We celebrated our anniversary by going to a little town called St Francisville & stayed at a B&B last night. The Inn only has 12 rooms so it was so quiet and peaceful. We got up this morning and hiked all day (saw 2 waterfalls). We took the back roads home so the X5 had a nice run through the country roads with no traffic.

Garage List
I finally installed the new vanity license plates on The Mighty Dodge today. Patting myself on the back for actually being able to swap both front and rear plates in the same trip out to the driveway, with no muscle cramps, knee buckles, or dizziness to mention. Still need to install the updated windshield registration sticker, but that will need to wait until my DW gets home so that I can borrow the mother-of-all inspection station sticker scrapers from her toolbox rather than try to do it with a loose razor blade.....

I was sick all weekend. Someone came into work with a sore throat and upset stomach last week.

Was told "it's ok, they have a lot of important work to do and it's not the rona".

Now I have a sore throat, fever and upset stomach....

AT LEAST IT'S NOT THE RONA....(or so I'm told)

Hence the resemblance. I do miss the Hudson Valley area and all the twisties but I really don't miss the potholes and blow outs.

Headed to Key West this weekend for a family wedding & some snorkeling. Will be about a 4-4.5hr drive, but will be a blast.
