2019 X2 20i Oil filter leak

Hi all.. I recently bought 2019 X2 20i.. The car had a recent oil change done and it has just done 13k miles. At the time i bought the car there were no oil leaks below it on the tray however once I drove back to myhome 200miles awayi noticed oil stains on the tray.. I checked and the oil filter was wet so I assumed it may be faulty oil filter seal or someone has over torqued it.. Got the oil changed along with new BMW oil filter and the oil filter seals however after 100 miles drive it is still leaking. Can it be due to faulty oil filter housing/cap as everything above the oil filter housing appears dry?
Thanks

Someone definitely tried to use the Torx socket on top - you can see the nicks in the *clockwise* direction. Would not take much to damage the plastic internally. Just look at the "5+2Nm" torque spec right on it!

If you can find the part, I'd just replace the whole cap. But you could maybe glue the insert.

Thanks for the reply.. Yes that's what it looks like.. I have ordered the new cap from BMW so will be getting it installed on Wednesday.. Hopefully that should resolve

Did the place that did the oil change not look to see if there was actually an oil leak?
Just something to note if the oil filter cap doesn't fix it these things are notorious for the plastic housing cracking where it attaches to block. I believe the f48 and the x2 use the same oil filter housing. Just something else if the cap doesn't fix it cause one of your pictures looks like the oil is coming from up above.
