F1 2019: Italian GP - Monza (Sep 8)

Ferrari has a pace and motivation that probably at the highest level in this season.. Leclerc is on more stable ground already in the team.. its good to have 2 races in 2 weeks time.. Ferrari certainly wants a victory this year and Merc' ll be a hunter on this track again..

video needs to be watched on Youtube..

For sure Seb will have the first lap memory of last year at the forefront of his must not repeat list.

MAX is getting the new HONDA/Spec4 motor upgrade in Monza .
With a startgrid penalty included (last row)

Earlier today I saw something about rain in Monza during the race weekend

Maranello church bells....

Precipitation forecasts for Sunday....

Scuderia's massive horsepower (KW) advantage and it's ability to create massive terminal velocity (straightline speed) on a track that is designed for straightline speed could produce....the church bells ringing in Maranello

Yeah . It seems the weather will be dry . Think also the church bells will be ringing for Charles .

Like usual , Lewis is always in the game . I'm thinking also about the tires and the pitstop strategy...
As for MAX , a catch-up race is waiting for him by his gridstart penalty ..

Ferrari fans will breathe a sigh of relief if there is little chance of rain and hope any Ferrari will win not just Charles again if there are no mistakes from Seb with just Mercs to worry at the start all being 'usual' in the line up in quali.
Max has it all to do but can't see him making any rash decisions as at Spa.

Sundays chance for rain is pretty massive though, a good 80%. Could be in for a treat of a race. Saturday will be dry forsure, which actually takes a tad of fun out of it but sunday strategies could ignite the fun. Im excited to see MAX on podium haha. Lets see if he can claim the modern era rainman title.

First blood to Charles in FP1 and FP2 with HAM a surprising fourth then second with Seb just behind but Charles said the true pace is yet to come. Can expect some towing from team mates to help out with the times.

Yeah . Between 4 and 10 AM , It's a high risk of longer periods of rain.
And between 1 and 4 PM it shows to me dry => http://www.myweather2.com/Motor-Raci...?dt=2019-09-08

But our rainman is ready for it , even from the last row by his startgrid penalty !

As long as he doesn’t try to get to 1st by the end of the first corner.

Anybody going to qualifying today? Bought some last minute tickets. Now I need to find a place to print them since the website says e-tickets must be printed. Ugh what's the point of an e-ticket with a barcodes and a QR code if they can't scan it off my phone and save some paper?!

The sausage kerb at the Parabolica has been removed before FP3 following Peroni's F3 car being launched from it.

Make no mistake VET wants his revenge and he's fastest with VER a blip behind after FP3.
All drivers have been warned that any no sense backing off in quali will be punished with grid drops.

It was only the drivers that were disadvantaged moaning the most.Getting a tow from teammate on last q lap is always going to be maximum risk with Park Lane traffic and Kimi was driving the car to that effect, please no jokes about ice creams.
