My Dad taught Phil Lynott to play guitar properly and his band at the time, Arrival, toured with Thin Lizzy as their support band! Phil was a good mate of my Mum and Dad - they were truly devastated when he died.

Dad still plays a lot of bass. Got a nice little collection of them.
