Feeler: COBB Access Port

Im parting ways with my car very soon and possibly BMW, therefore my COBB AP will be for sale.

It's in as new condition with all cables, box and instructions. It is unmarried from my car and ready for a new owner.

This cost me around £550 imported, therefore I believe £415 delivered is a fair price, especially given its features and tuning potential for your car.

As stated, feeler at present but please express your interest .

Not sure yet, 335i Coupe most likely or 135i but I'm not discounting later Subaru's either .

Dont buy an STI Hatch! I had one. Admittedly it would kil a 335i in handling and speed in everyway but the engine is chocolate and hve terrible ringland problems. I had to rebuild mine in only a few thousand milesof owning it. Got it to 443bhp and 526lbs/ft and would kick the arse off of any car on the road pretty much but lots ofmoney to rebuild.

Thanks for the info . I was considering a Hawk Eye STi Type UK if you know anything about those?

I'm ultimately looking for a cheaper car than the E93 which opens the door to E92's, most of the good 4WD's & hot hatches. The difference in price between my E93 and new car will be spent on our house and a f*cking good holiday, we deserve it.

It will work with any 335i but may need to identified which ecu you have first. Turn around time 5mins the car and roughly 1 day of wait from cobb themselve to sign the ecu mapping to match your ecu. Then it is just update and have a happy ending

Yup, Yoro is right. Either way you get a tune for your car and COBB's customer support is amazing.

Time to move on, it's been fun but ultimately an expensive drop top doesn't fit our requirements any longer. E92 is a strong consideration of course but can I be bothered to wait for the right one? Maybe I'll get lucky, we'll see.

Hawk Eye and RB320 use the ej25 engines which are the same 2.5 that have the ring land problems. If you want one and dont want to streangthen or rebuild it you need to buy ayhtin with the EJ20 2.0 litre in it.

You best bet is to but a JDM import hawk eye with the EJ20 Twinscroll engine. Its bullet proof and kicks the arse of all standard scobies. But you pay a pemiume on insurnce due toit being import.

How is the E92 so much different than the E93? I don't get it... Other than a few hundred pounds more weight?

It's cheaper to buy, insure, run on fuel (better MPG) & tax! So financially, E92 is a better option. Not to mention it handles better.
