Thanks for posting this. Looks like besides the Mesh Edition pkg, which if you go with bi-color instead of multi-color wheels, is not a bad package, and gets you the superb M sport seats without going for the M35i, only new item I see is the Shadowline pkg for the M35i?
I was planning to black out the mirror and the lower outer grill surrounds, so hopefully the parts from the Shadowline can be purchased separately. |

Thanks for posting.
I'd guess that the extended shadowline includes mirror caps and grill surrounds (RIP cerium gray). It seems like cerium gray has lovers and haters. My car is still on the boat (for some reason the boat's not moving - just South West of Southampton UK), so will have to wait and see. |

The 2022 X2 configuration tool is now on the BMWUSA.com site.

I went in to the updated configurator...
Extended shadowline - could take or leave it. Looks sort of better - but not sure. On the other hand... The 10.25" screen is a nice upgrade and is part of the premium package. Damn. Will have to see if/how to retrofit that into current car (arriving next week!). Looks like you can get magma red with or without sport seats. Otherwise, I didn't see other changes. |

Already seeing '22 showing up at dealers, so that means all new 2023 due later this year or early next year?
Found this rendering: Hope that grill doesn't make it... and some type of hybrid powertrain becomes available in US. |

I am more concerned about features. Mrs. rounderman really wants the car to have blind spot warning and I wouldn't mind Android Auto. neither are deal breakers. I also want another M35 variant my lease is up next May so we shall see.
Thanks for the picture |

Ordered a 2022 X2 xDrive28i today to replace my wife's 2015 428xi Gran Coupe. We went with the M Sport and Premium Packages with the perforated leather seats. The larger navi screen with the Premium Package is very nice.
After looking at the new 3 and 4 Series front grills, we decided that we didn't want to wait for a potential redesign. Man I'd hate to live in any urban area with those new grills and parallel park - there is no protection. |
