BMW: Please fix channel art via satellite radio

I am bringing this up again in hopes that someone who works for BMW will take note and perhaps help rectify the absence of this most basic feature.

My 16 x1 with upgraded navigation system does not have channel art for satelite radio. My 2014 x1 and 14' 328i did. Now my 16' 428i even has album art for satellite radio. Now here's the real kicker, on HD radio, I get channel and album art. I also don't get album art via streaming, only when I plug in via USB. I have brought this to the attention of my service advisor and they can't do anything about it. I asked them to at least log the complaint. I have also called BMW North America to complain about the absence of this feature that is functional in every other car they make including ones years older. I was told that this system is a stripped down version from the system in other bmws (not NBT or NBT2) but what I don't understand is why it works on HD radio but not satellite radio. I understand the new x1 shares a lot of electronics with the new Mini Cooper but I have friends with those and their album art works. I still think this is a programming glitch. If you want to exclude this basic feature from the base entertainment system, that's one thing, but not including it on the higher end system is ridiculous.

Am I the only one that is bothered by this? Please post your thoughts so this thread might get some attention.

Pretty sure the 2017 I had over for coding had album art via Iphone bluetooth streaming.

Will give the owner a shout tomorrow and ask him to confirm.

Cant say anything about satellite radio, as we have no such thing here.

My 16 doesn't display it on Sirius XM either.
