Canadians, How long is the wait from Halifax to Toronto?

Agreed. Because we are in Canada where USA people can track their order all the way once its shipped directly through BMW. For other X models built in Mexico except X1 they can even see their cars getting build since the factory has intalled cameras all over. Got to know this while watching factory tours.

It took approximately 3 weeks for my X1 to get from Halifax to the dealer in TO.

Mine has been sitting in Halifax for 28 days. I haven't got any update yet.

Got an update from the dealer and have been told not to expect it until the week of April 11th.

The interest rate has already gone down once since I signed the deal. It was 4.99 in January and went down to 2.90 in Feb. I can't imagine it will go down to 1.9 in April. That would be a nice side effect if it did.

I am leasing it. The time I sign the deal was 4.9%, Feb. was 3.9% with 58% residual, March was 3.9% with 57% residual. April unknown. Currently, Feb. is the best. The rate could be locked up to 60 days. So, if I take delivery by March 31, I could take advantage of Feb. program. Otherwise, I could only use March. or April. My sales guy said if it is delayed, it's not my fault, he will help me with the best rate I could take.

Got the most updated info from dealer. I got a very funny answer from them, they said the port is currently packed with BMWs, Audi and other cars imported from Germany. CN rail is trying to get those cars on the train. But!!! The earlier your car reached Halifax, the later it would be loaded on train, because the earlier cars would be stocked in the very inner side of the autoport, which would be much more difficult to be moved and loaded. Is that funny?

Btw, my dealer agreed to give me a BMW to drive before mine arrives.

They said no date could be provided at the moment. My sales guy told me that the cars which were built later than mine arrived at the dealer this morning. It's just because of the reason he mentioned this morning. I don't know if it could be delivered by April now.

This is interesting news. My car arrived in Halifax on March 18 and the status says "delivered from" March 21. Guess it's a little hard to judge how soon it will arrive in BC since there's no info yet on rail transport website that was linked in this thread. Knowing when it'll be delivered is rather important to me because I need to time when I should put my current car on the market.

I entered the full VIN although entering the last 7 digits also works. Definitely looks like it is last in, first out of Halifax.

Hmmm, this is really strange. My car arrived in Halifax on March 18. I had nothing on lhf.com until today. Then BAM.

As I mentioned previously, my car was delivered from Halifax on March 3, 2016, and until now, I haven't got anything from https://www.lhf.com/tracking.

However, BMW seemed to be generous to me, they gave me a brand new 328XI to drive until I get mine. It is only 15kms on it.
