EVAP valve notice from BMW- Get reimbursed

Looks like BMW is taking action on this for anyone who has paid out of pocket or has these issues. You should be receiving a letter from BMW.

You mind me asking, what year X1 do you have? I am having the same issues with my EVAP. I'm wondering if I take it to the dealer, will they fix it for free?

We had a 2018 X1 X-Drive. We got rid of it last month. The purge valve was the last thing I replaced on it.
