Today's confession and possibly my last post here during business hours. The Fuhrer at work has finally succeeded and facing my desk in the corner. My back and all 4 monitors are now exposed to everyone who walks through the office. Apparently, IT had sent a list of websites frequently visited on our network. Apparently, traffic to BP was through the roof....who would have thought. In my last defiant act, I have clicked the shit out of the OT section while I ate lunch at my desk.

Shit.....update: the plant manager just walked through the office as I am typing this, stops, looks at my monitor and just stares at me with a blank expression on his face. Hmmmm.....how to fight the good battle and yet stay gainfully employed? It's a shame I can't set up a remote desktop connection from home so they can see me doing it without being able to prove it on the network.

+1.....I police the networks here. I tell people that I'm not their Dad and they know what they should and shouldn't be looking at.

And until one of their supervisors comes to me with an issue and specifically asks because of a problem....I don't care what they are doing as long as they are caught up with "work stuff".
