Help: Blackout/Chrome Delete
Greetings! I'm in the process of "chrome deleting" my 2018 X1 and was curious if anyone knew how to blackout the gray pieces on the bumper? Can I simply replace these or would I need to get a M-Sport style bumper? Any assistance/recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I painted everything except the window trim, which I had wrapped. If I remember correctly, i paid $1400 for everything including rims and roof rails.

Cheap “Bumper Guard” from local car wash. $25, flexible rubber to protect from light hits/parking mishaps. It works and was cheap. Looks cool too.

Interesting. Haven't seen that before. Though it's been a while since I've been to NY, I recall seeing vehicles (taxis especially) with additional bumper guards on the rear, and foam guards on the doors when parked.
