Help: Blackout/Chrome Delete

Greetings! I'm in the process of "chrome deleting" my 2018 X1 and was curious if anyone knew how to blackout the gray pieces on the bumper? Can I simply replace these or would I need to get a M-Sport style bumper? Any assistance/recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That looks awesome. The all black looks much more aggressive. If you don't mind me asking, about how much did it cost to paint? After seeing another thread, some people have recommended vinyl wrapping so I'm trying to get an idea of which route to explore

I painted everything except the window trim, which I had wrapped. If I remember correctly, i paid $1400 for everything including rims and roof rails.

Great thank you for the info, that's good reference. I'll plan on shopping around my local shops to see what the prices are here

Tks, I’m quite happy with the blacked out look. Just added rain guards recently, so I’ll post updated pics soon.

Cheap “Bumper Guard” from local car wash. $25, flexible rubber to protect from light hits/parking mishaps. It works and was cheap. Looks cool too.

Interesting. Haven't seen that before. Though it's been a while since I've been to NY, I recall seeing vehicles (taxis especially) with additional bumper guards on the rear, and foam guards on the doors when parked.

That looks incredible. What bumper splitters are those / where did you get them from?
