Sirius XM 2018 X1
I picked up certified 2018 X1 over the weekend. According to BMW site, all certified BMWs come with 3 months SIRIUS XM. I'm looking to transfer my subscription from my other vehicle to this one but lo and behold, I don't see anywhere on the display anything that says satellite radio.
Anyone know how to get Satellite on the HU? Thx! |

Do you have the three 6.5 or 8.8" screen?
If you have the 8.8 then press the Radio button beside your idrive controller and you should see Satellite Radio as an option in addition to AM and FM. |

That's just silly to not have that unlocked. There's a guy on ebay that sells FSC codes pretty cheap if you need. I had to get one to update my maps.

Will need to do some digging on how to code the headunit and add the FSC code. Problem is there are alot of people who will activate it remotely and charge a stupid high price to do it, and they tend to keep it a secret on what they do to code it.

Make sure to check that Satellite Radio is not hidden in the Personalize Menu settings. I don't use it, so I have it hidden from the menu.
I think Sirius XM is standard in North America (at least in Canada). |
