$800 for rear brake job on 2018 X1?

Checked in at 9AM and car was ready before 11AM.

Was given a quote for brake service at around 10AM, so I know for sure work did not start before 10AM.

However, I was charged $300+ for labor.

Is this normal or did I get rip off at the BWM dealer (dealer in NY)? To me I feel like I should have been charged for 1 hour labor instead of two.

seems a bit pricey for just rear brakes. I had a dealer around Chicago land quote me $1100 for front/rear brakes & they were just going to replace the pads only and re-surface the rotors then wanted an additional $50 for some brake test bs. I ripped the quote up and got it done by a local friend and only cost me less than $500 for everything.

While the rears are a bit harder since they have to use a scanner to release the epb, it's not worth $800.

No way thats so expensive.

I have done the rears breaks before its really not that hard.

Took me 1 1/2 hour.
