ER Charge Pipe Install issues - Help
Anyone in the Houston area with Evolution Racewerks charge pipes installed? I'm trying to install mine and I'm having a hell of a time getting access to the front charge pipe torx 10 bolt to secure the pipe to the turbo charger. I've tried every tool I can think of and I can't get the charge to seat all the way due to the diameter of the pipe. It won't allow the torx 10 socket to fit over the bolt head.
Any advice is greatly appreciated! |

That's weird. I have BMS charge pipes on our shop car, and that front bolt wasn't hard at all. Do you need help with it? Have you pulled the airbox out? It practically falls out!

Are the BMS charge pipes diameter increased to 2.25"? That increased diameter plus the fact they changed the shape is what doesn't allow access to the bolt to properly tighten down. Is this the case with BMS pipes?
Yes, I need help. I have had them for weeks and haven't gotten them installed. It's driving me crazy. Yes I have the stock air intake removed completely as I'm going to install Max PSI's intake. |
