2021 X2 M35i - New Owner Observations...
Well, it finally got here after ordering in late December. I followed the entire journey via MyBMW and merchant marine tracking - and that was pretty fun.
I've not driven that much yet (got it on Weds, 3/31), but I wanted to throw out some new owner observations for other perspective buyers... Cool things I’ve noticed so far:
Other things I’ve noticed so far (not bad necessarily - just noticing):
Pics coming soon. I need a sunnier day. |

The stock runflats are part of this. If you put a better tire on, you'll appreciate DDC more. Try letting a psi or two out in the meantime.

Another pretty cool thing I just learned... With comfort access, we all (probably) knew that if you rest a finger on the handle when you're locking the car, the windows, sunroof, etc. will close. With the X2, when you do this, it will also fold the mirrors. I mention this since there's no option to fold when locking in the menus (I'll get bimmercode for this). Interesting that they would code the mirrors to fold via comfort access. |

Please post pics of the storm gray as soon as you can. I am a few months away from ordering that color and my dealer doesn’t have any at this time.

Here is a shot from yesterday with sunspot. Not great, but you get a sense of the color in the sun. More grey. In the shade, its more blue. Its really nice.

My bad...
Was hoping for sun. When the sun came, I didn't have time. When I have time, it's raining. These are in the garage - so lighting not good. Also, ceramic coating makes for strong reflections. Hard to tell from these, but more blue-ish in the shade. Interior contrast is pretty sweet (I think). The pictures make interior look much more orange. It's actually a bit darker/red'er. |

Out of curiosity, which pedal covers did you get? Bimmerworld has pedals for the x1 but not x2. I feel like they should fit? Overall, love everything about the m35i. The red seats are the one thing I wish I had!
