X2 M35i play in drivers seat

Hey
Anybody else experienced a tiny movement in the seat when accelerating or braking. Not necessarily hard acceleration or braking, it's noticeable even driving gently and the seat just moves a notch forward on braking or backwards on accelerating. I'm probably talking about 5mm or less of movement but I've never had this on all other BMW cars I've owned. When stationary if I sit and push back and forth the movement is noticeable too, almost as if the seat is rocking by a few mm. Mine is a 12k miler M35i with the M seats. A year manufacturers warranty remaining so will raise with the dealership but just wondering if they will quibble or recognise it as a known issue! The passenger seat does not have any movement so that should help my case!

I've experienced that in other vehicles and it is very annoying. My M35 seat is rock solid with no noticeable movement at all. I would definitely bring it up with the dealer.

I have the M seats too! Great aren't they! It's more of a minor annoyance than a deal breaker as I was aware of the issue on the test drive and still bought the car! Just worried it may be a contentious issue when I raise it with the dealer, although I'll make it clear I've had plenty of cars from them and never noticed this before!
