Which engine? I have been waiting for the m35i flash tune.
I still only see this: 2017–present F39 X2 25i/28i |

No CEL’s at all. It was a little tricky for the initial flash. Customer service was great and helped me through it.
IMO bm3 helps with the lag and is pretty smooth. Acceleration on the highway is great. It’s also quick off the line as well. |

I found my obd2-enet-iphone cable in my F33 bag and hooked it up to my phone. Looks like bm3 can unlock my dme and flash, but I haven't gotten a straight answer from PTF about the M35i engine maps.

Yea I'm not sure. Since my car is a 28i, I asked which set of numbers I should be looking at for gains, and they said to go off the 30i numbers. I doubt that would be the case for you.

I've been waiting for a bm3 tune since I got this car. I was very happy with the stage 1 - 93 tune on my 430 from them. Definitely woke the engine up.
With the X2 M35i, not really looking to wake the engine but want to have better power delivery. |

I'm still hesitant of the day when my car "accidentally" gets DME locked when it's in for service.. because of COVID I've had the excuse not to go into the dealer. Even worse if BMW is allowed to force an OTA update ever.. that would really make me upset.

It’s been two weeks, how are you liking it so far?
I loved it in my F33. PTF can’t give me a straight answer on if the M35i is supported. They just closed my question. Lol |

looks like switching to the iphone 14 killed my obd-ethernet-lightning connection.
hooked my laptop up with bm3 to send them my software numbers and it looks like my car will need a bench unlock. Edit-update Sent them the requested info and no response so their system auto closed the message. Guess no BM3 for me. Last edited by chowser51; 10-13-2022 at 10:21 AM.. |

They DO have support for the M35i... the only issue is if your DME is locked.

I do need to do the bench unlock. They asked for the software versions from my car and I sent it to them and they just forgot about me. looking for a local place to do a bench unlock now just to have it done.
