I purchased a BMW X1 2018 june, and I want to activate android auto.

VIN Number is 3G27593, I think the HU is ENTRYNAV. europa

Are you able to help me in doing this?

You actually have ENTRYNAV2 (WAY) not ENTRYNAV (ROUTE).

Not possible. Android Auto only possible on new MGU Head Units.

CarPlay is not possible with ENTRYNAV ROUTE Head Unit. You need newer ENTRYNAV2 WAY Head Unit or aftermarket HMI.

Hi!
I have "strange" issue with CarPlay on retrofitted NBT EVO. When I receive text message - there is no notification sound in CarPlay. Also sometimes NBT not opens CarPlay automatically, when receive text message. All is ok with phone calls.
Is there any possible way to resolve this issue?

P.S. on entrynav2 HU all was OK, except FullScreen

No idea. I presume not all is coded right in NBT2 for CarPlay.

For anyone who put in MMI into their BMW, I had a few Qs, is it worth going for the NBT ID5/6 retro from bimmertech?

If I just get the carplay retro, is there enough space behind the stereo or will I have to remove the glove compartment as well? I couldnt find any F48 videos.

I bought a 2018 X1 that has 6UP Navigation Plus. The map shows Europe Way 2020-03, unit should be then ENTRYNAV2 WAY if I understood it correctly. Do you think this one is possible?

2) Can I install nbt navi plus (65128720702), display 8.8" (65508797400), joystick 62825А0Е449?
3) Can I install only the 8.8" 65508797400 display. Is it a touchscreen?
