Auxiliary Power/Cigarette Outlet Time Out

How long does the auxiliary power outlet by the cup holder compartment stay on for (or does it even turn off) after I lock the car? Just picked up an X2 and want to keep a rechargeable flashlight in it, but don't want it to drain the battery. I know that my phone and most have flashlights, but I have always kept an emergency flashlight in the car, just incase I need extra light while using my phone at the same time. Thanks!

I think they all turn off after 10/15 mins?
Doesn’t your flashlight know to stop charging when full?
