Cabin filter change - read this first

Youtube video makes it like it is a 5 min job, but the reality is it is more like 30 min job. Also if you have a big hand just forget about it.

To remove the panel in order to access the filter housing, you will also have to drop the tray under the glove box. Without doing it, it is nearly impossible to pull the panel off completely.

Figured I would let everyone know. German engineering = more $$$ for the shops.

Hey

Do you have a YouTube link of how to do it?

Maybe 10 realistically. I've done twice, first time took me like 20 minutes, but once you have that plastic panel removed is a piece of cake to access the filter and put everything back together.

I lay a piece of cardboard on the floor right outside the door so I can kneel on it and have a fairly straight reach for the filter.

This is great info.
It is kind of hard to find DIYS for F48.
