E84 to F48
Hey Guys,
Interested in upgrading my X1. On paper the upgrade doesn't seem to change a whole lot internally. Could someone share their experiences from the E84 to F48 and if they think its worth dropping 50K on for a somewhat similar car. I'm mostly interested in the driving experience and I believe more spacious interior. Thanks! |

http://f48.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1241003 If you want sportiness I think you should stay with your E84 or go with a 3 Series Touring. If you just want a bigger, newer, better looking ride and you don't mind loosing sporty ride ... Than this new F48 should fits you just fine. I'm a bit nervous though about the engine and the transmission which are used on Mini Cooper ... Reliability could be a huge issue here. I really hope BMW knows what they are doing ... |

I switched from my E84 to F48 and is vary happy with F48. It's a huge improvement. More space, more features and absolutely stunning look. Only thing, it has a little body roll like any other taller SUV will have and that's understandable for raised height. In Sport Mode of F48, after the break in period, U'll not miss the E84 much except the body roll.
Actually now I almost forgot if E84 was at all better in sports with this F48 with M Sport suspension which more stiff and has same stats for 0-60mph. Last edited by Shubha29; 04-23-2016 at 06:58 PM.. |
