That stopped working with P3.59.2. Now you use PIA_DEFAULT_TIPPBLINKEN
That one doesn't exist in my BDC_BODY.

My X1 F48 Coding Sheet

Dear all

I am a beginner for BMW coding. On last three months, I study many document to learn the coding and also have get many support and help from other expert coming from worldwide. Now I coded what I want and learned some function of the relative program like E-sys, Launcher, ISTA+ and NCDCAFD tools. Those program are complicated and hard for me and I will taken more time to study later (So I will have more question to ask you expert). I know all of the expert have spent many many time to study and investigate those program, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of them like Shawsheridan; Almaretto; oreoOozZz, E90Fleet, SimonCHS (from my country), Tokenmaster, Reclaimer and other.

Although, there have many many coding sheet for other BMW model on the worldwide, I just want to share my coding sheet to other coding beginner especially F48 for reference only. And some of the module have not been coded and tested by myself, and some of them is just copy from other coding sheet, so if you have coded and tested them, please update me and let other beginner to enjoy.

Here is the link, enjoy

Importance: That coding sheet is suitable for my car only, may not yours.

It isn't in this car. I've attached a copy of it, just remove the .txt extension.

Also, the BFD coding gives a Light Control error when the BFD is triggered. The brake lights do flash but it gives that error on the iDrive and Kombi, then goes away. The unlock all doors when engine stop doesn't work either in CLI_DEFAULT_UNLOCK_AFTER_END_OF_DRIVING even though it's set to aktiv. VAM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK doesn't even give me an option to change to aktiv, it only has nicht_aktiv.

The NCD mainly only contains werte values:

There are two things that make a difference:
  • You have matching CAF in C:\data\psdzdata\swe\caf (ie cafd_000017be.caf.052_010_039)
  • You are using latest launcher (Premium 2.7 or Pro 2.6.3).
Not sure what you coded for BFD, but you have to do more than just ESS_AKTIVIERBARER_AUSGANG.

CLI_DEFAULT_UNLOCK_AFTER_END_OF_DRIVING:
  • nur_nach_v_verriegeln: if you want them to unlock only if doors auto-lock
  • aktiv: if you want them to always auto-unlock
Because you still have VAM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK, my guess is you have not updated Launcher for most up-to-date mapping.

I'm on Launcher Premium 2.5.3.108 with E-Sys 3.27.1, using PSdZData 61.0
What do you suggest I update? This is the first time I'm having an issue coding a F series vehicle.

For BFD I only changed ESS_AKTIVIERBARER_AUSGANG. What other parameters need to be changed?

You do not need to update E-sys, but definitely update Launcher. PM Sent.

You will get errors if you only change that one BFD value. There are two-four others that you need to change.

Garage List
I went for some coding this afternoon.

THANKS to all of you guys for your help.

I changed Start & Stop to last setting position OK
Door handle light in reverse OK
Turn signal set to 5 time OK

Driving mode set to "sport mode" OK
I wanted to set it to last setting position but Ididn't find ICMQL for memory.
If anyone can help me it could be nice.

And I have a new coding question.
On my car, I have adaptive light with windshield camera.
So High beam to Low beam is automatic when I push the button on the left side of the steering wheel to have the green light on on the dashboard.
I think it could be better to have it automatic without having to push the button.

So, my question, is there any coding to reverse the default function.

Hope I am clear enough....

Cheers

JP

I am wondering if all this coding could give ground to any authorized BMW service point to deem your car out of warranty!
Has it ever occurred?

Rarely, but yes.

Only possible on vehicles with FRM (eg, F010 & F025)

VO coding reverts ECU's to factory values.

BDC_Body (CAFD_000017BE) is used in all the following:
  • X1 (F048), X5(M) & X6(M) (F015/F016/F085/F086), I3 & I8 (I001/I012)
    • This allows default driving mode (Choice of 8, but not all chassis support all like Sport or Edrive)
  • ICMQL (CAFD_000013D8) is only found in X5(M) & X6(M). Among other things, this ECU configures:
    • Supported Driving Modes
    • Remember Driving Mode (Choice of 4 = Mode 2, 4, 7, & 8) & Shutdown interval to remember
As such, I do not believe you can set driving memory; at least I have not found it. You can try looking in DSC2.

I need to post update through 3.61.1, but here is CAFD_ID's PDF.
