I don't see the point of having such post in the F48 forum. We love our X1s here and admit there may be shortcomings, but as a functional utilitarian vehicle, it trumps a lot of the competition out there! And I'm so sick of seeing all the remarks of RWD... how many of us actually have the opportunity to push the car to its limits? On a day to day basis, there is very little difference. I'll be laughing at you stuck in the snow in your RWD while the Xdrive plotters along. |

My felt the same. I took her to check it out and she thought it looked good and really liked it. We even considered buying it, but she wanted to look at more cars before deciding. A few days later I pointed one out to her and she said "There's no way that that's the car we looked at the other day." :/

I was a fan of the first gen x1 but was never sold on the exterior design. Then the second gen came out and I thought to myself "this might be the perfect car for my wife"...until we both sat in it.
Extremely disappointed with the interior design which is a terrible shame because the exterior is perfect. I'm sure it drives very nice but we ended up getting a Q3 which is very attractive inside out. On the entry level cars, it's hard to justify spending so much on a Bmw when the competition offer so much more bang for buck. |

My wife is coming from her Golf R and she placed an order for an X1 last week. We looked at all of the competition, even drove 4 different brands and the X1 was the best of the bunch - hands down. At first glance, she didn't like the rear end looks, but she said it is growing on her. Can't wait to get the car.

First time I'm reading this and I gotta say that has me pretty stoked. I picked up a 2017 X1 28i xDrive at the end of the year and love it. Great vehicle for the price, comfort and features. The X1 is the perfect for daily commuting.

You’ve got something wrong then. With a sport tune and 335x30/19’s on mine I’m still getting 25+ mpg...and I drive HARD. Get that checked!
