X2 M sport exhaust tips to X1 f48?

Does anybody know if the new X2 m sport package 2.0i exhaust tips can fit the X1 same model?
I have the chrome ones that seem so small compared to the X2 version and would like to change them to bigger, nicer ones.
These black ones look so nice.

or this one:

Anything similar has anybody changed/fitted?

Yes it is possible, if you look on Realoem.com you will see that the rear silencer on the x2 and x1 are the same part number, which means the tail pipe finishers will be a direct fit. I have fitted satin black pipe finishers from the F20 M140i onto my F48

On my old car I just "hammered" (using a bit of wood between) them onto the existing exhaust tips (or lack of, rather). Do the old ones need to be removed or do these slide over the top?

Great! Thanks for the photos!
Would also highly appreciate your reply on the post above - how you removed the old finishers? Rubber hammer?

Hello! Have you finally tried to change the exhaust tips from X2?

Hello, could I just double check the diameter of the exhaust system these will fit on before I order them? I have two system pipes, each being 52mm external diameter. The existing chrome tails are 75mm external diameter. Thanks.

The inlet and the outlet have different diameters. If I recall correctly, the inlet is 35mm and the outlet is 75mm, but please check it first.

To avoid doing all that, I bought a set of tips that 'slides' on top of existing ones, something like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/14413839387...wAAOSwSzBhCdAA

IMO, they are great, they really transform the look and they are easy to install/uninstall. I'm attaching some pictures for your reference, and trust me, in person, they look even better. From the photos, you may say they are too long, but it's not the case.

Anyway, I just wanted to share my thoughts with you.
