Thieves learned how to crack previous types of steering lock. Since this is new, and looks OK, there is a fair chance that "they" will go to next car.

If they are towing or flat bedding the cars, which is what they are probably doing, this will do nothing to prevent the theft.

I don't think towing nor flatbedding is common in Europe - nor the UK

They break the window and access the OBDII port, then reprogram the ECU to accept a false key....

I wish BMW had stayed with the keyed ignition.

I would just go with the original Club... it's not failsafe, but a lot of thieves don't carry a hacksaw, and will move on.

After my Corolla was stolen a few years ago, a cop told me he's never taken a stolen report from someone using a Club.

Thabks guys, ever since up the road my mates A5 got stolen in 3 minutes! He literally went inside for a piss and came out and it was gone.I am paranoid about my vehicle. I will give the club a go.

I remember my uncles A4 getting stolen from his drive. He had electric gates! Which they hacked and then re programmed the car and rolled it out off the drive and they were gone. We watched it back on the CCTV, 7 minutes i remember for it all.

Motion-activated, realistic tarantula toys. Three of them should do the trick. Place under loose paper on passenger seat and on dash. Post results on YouTube. ?
