Hi everyone,
I just bought a used 2015 BMW X1 Xdrive28i from a used car dealer 3 days ago . I have realized that my front windshield washer is not coming out at all . My rear windshield wiper and the water works absolutely fine .

What could the problem be for the front . The fluid is full . Could it be the washer pump.

Should i take it to the mechanic or will i be able to fix it myself.

Thanks everyone

Washer pump might be broken, but I'd have a look at the jets and make sure they're not filled with gunk/dirt.

Check out the non return valve for the front washers, it's not unusual for it to fail and not allow the fluid to pass at all.

Just go back to the dealer. I don't know what buyer protection you are given in Canada, but the law in the UK leaves the seller liable for any faults that may become evident within a certain time period. If your car had the fault at the time of purchase, it is simply sensible to go back to the dealer and get him/them to rectify it. By fiddling about, or dismantling the washer mechanism yourself, I imagine you may be giving the seller an escape route from any liability.
